2 methods of unlocking
Not for the INFINEON3 Samsung family there are 2 methods for unlocking: 1. Bruteforce by original cable (takes max 4 hours) and 2. Instant unlock by UART cable

Unlock by original cable
This method takes a max of 4 hours so it is VERY important to have a 100% charged battery

1. If you do not have a valid SRS username and password yet: Buy a SRS Samsung unlock account
2. Download & run our SRS installer - Make sure you also install Samsung USB drivers.
3. If present uninstall 'Samsung PC studio software' / 'KIES software' from your computer
4. Put the original working simcard inside the phone and turn on the phone (if you don't have the original simcard or your phone is in 'phone freeze' mode don't put any simcard in the phone)
5. If present on your phone make sure Bluetooth is turned OFF and 'Auto Keypad Lock' is off
6. Connect the cable to your computer and your phone
7. If the phone asks for a mode select 'KIES mode'
8. Run Samsung Remote Unlock Client (Start -> Programs -> Simlock Remote Client -> Samsung Remote Unlock client)
9. Login using your SRS login
10. Select your phone model from the drop down list
11. Press rescan and make sure 'Samsung Modem' is detected (In case of trouble Check and set Samsung Infineon2 modem port)
    1. Make sure your original Samsung USB cable is connected to your computer and your phone (turned on in correct mode)
    2. Open 'Device Manager' on your computer:
       On XP go to: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> (Switch to Classic view ) -> System -> Hardware (tab) -> Device Manager.
       On Vista go to: Start -> Type in the following commando in the 'Search box': devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
       On Windows 7 Click the pearl button (start button) then in the search box type 'Device Manager', you will see 'Device Manager' in the search results. Click and it opens.
    3. Now click the '+' at 'Modems'
    4. You will now see your device identified as 'Samsung Modem' (the exact device name differs per phone model)
    5. Right mouse click the device and choose 'Properties'
    6. A new window will open with several tabs. Now go to the 'Modem' tab
    7. There you will see which Com port number the device has (Com x where 'x' is a number)
    8. Select (or type) this number under 'Select Comport' in the SRS software
12. Click 'Direct unlock' and wait until process is finished

Instant unlock by UART
This method uses a special UART (FTDI) usb cable and unlocks the phone instantly

1. If you do not have a valid SRS username and password yet: Buy a SRS Samsung unlock account
2. Download & run our SRS installer
3. If present uninstall 'Samsung PC studio software' / 'KIES software' from your computer
4. Put the original working simcard inside the phone and turn on the phone (if you don't have the original simcard or your phone is in 'phone freeze' mode don't put any simcard in the phone)
5. If present on your phone make sure Bluetooth is turned OFF and 'Auto Keypad Lock' is off
6. Type #7465625# on the phone
7. Connect the UART cable to your computer and your phone
8. If the phone asks for a mode select 'KIES mode'
9. Run Samsung Remote Unlock Client (Start -> Programs -> Simlock Remote Client -> Samsung Remote Unlock client)
10. Login using your SRS login
11. Select your phone model from the drop down list
12. Set com port to correct port for your FTDI drivers (cable should come with drivers)
13. Click 'Read unlock codes' and follow instructions in the white screen
