  1. Download & run our SRS installer - Make sure you also install Samsung USB drivers.
  2. If present uninstall 'Samsung PC studio software' from your computer
  3. Restart computer (important for Andriod phones)
  4. Put the original working simcard inside the phone and turn on the phone (if you don't have the original simcard or your phone is in 'phone freeze' mode don't put any simcard in the phone)
  5. If present on your phone make sure Bluetooth is turned OFF and 'Auto Keypad Lock' is off
  6. On the phone go to: Menu > Settings > Applications > Development (For some phones it is: Menu -> Settings -> Programs -> Development)
  7. Switch on the option USB DEBUGGING
  8. Put the phone in 'KIES' mode (not in 'mass storage mode')
  9. Connect the original Samsung USB cable to your computer and your phone
  10. Run Samsung Remote Unlock Client (Start -> Programs -> Simlock Remote Client -> Samsung Remote Unlock client)
  11. Login using your SRS login
  12. Select your phone model from the drop down list
  13. Press rescan and make sure 'Samsung Android Modem' is detected (In case of trouble Check and set Samsung Andriod1 ports)
  14. Click 'Read Unlock Codes'
  15. On some phones phone will ask to allow Root access when client says 'Reading NVM' if this is the case for you click yes!
  16. Remove simcard again and enter the unlock / unfreeze codes in the phone manually

Important: For phones with Android 2.3.6 or higher you need to manually ROOT the phone.

Important 2: on some new firmware version 'read unlock codes' does not work in that case use 'Direct unlock' function. If Android version is lower then 2.3.6 and 'read unlock codes' gives you problem used 'Direct unlock'!
