1. If you do not have a valid SRS username and password yet: Buy a SRS Samsung unlock account
2. Download & run our SRS installer - Make sure you also install Samsung USB drivers in 4th step of installer.
3. If present uninstall 'Samsung PC studio software' from your computer
4. Put the original working simcard inside the phone and turn on the phone (if you don't have the original simcard or your phone is in 'phone freeze' mode don't put any simcard in the phone)
5. If present on your phone make sure Bluetooth is turned OFF and 'Auto Keypad Lock' is off
6. Go to Menu - Settings-> Applications-> Development - ( switch on ) USB debugging ON
7. Type *#7284# then choose USB > Modem (or USB > Phone)
8. Type: *#9090# then choose - [1] Uart_null_usb_diag.
   Sometimes options are different per phone but important is that you choose an option with 'usb_diag', this means that USB is in diagnostic mode
   *Note for some phones the codes *#7284# and *#9090# bring you to the same screen, don't worry about that
9. Now restart the phone
10. Type *#9090# once more the check phone is still in USB Diag(nostics) mode
11. Connect phone with computer using original Samsung USB cable
12. Run Samsung Remote Unlock Client (Start -> Programs -> Simlock Remote Client -> Samsung Remote Unlock client)
13. Login using your SRS login
14. Select your phone model from the drop down list
15. Press rescan and make sure 'QCOM Diag' is detected (In case of trouble Check and set Samsung OMAP2 modem port)
    1. Make sure your original Samsung USB cable is connected to your computer and your phone (turned on in correct modes)
    2. Open 'Device Manager' on your computer:
       On XP go to: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> (Switch to Classic view ) -> System -> Hardware (tab) -> Device Manager.
       On Vista go to: Start -> Type in the following commando in the 'Search box': devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
       On Windows 7 Click the pearl button (start button) then in the search box type 'Device Manager', you will see 'Device Manager' in the search results. Click and it opens.
    3. Now click the '+' at 'Ports (com & LPT)'
    4. You will now see your device identified as 'Samsung Mobile Modem diagnostic Serial Port(WDM)'
    5. You can directly see the com port number behind the name of the device between the brackets ()
    6. Select (or type) this number under 'Select Comport' in the SRS software
16. Press 'Direct Unlock'
