Virus scanner Kaspersky is giving false positive

We have found out that virus scanning software from Kaspersky is giving a false possible when scanning our installer.

We think this is because our recently added optional install of the Folding @ Home project which we included to help science do research in material that could possibly create new knowledge into fighting worlds most terrible deceases. No other virus scanner we tested detects anything (of course because there is NO virus in our software).

We have already contacted Kaspersky and hope they will remove our false positive soon. However for the moment just disable your Kaspersky scanner or just uninstall it and get a better one! False positives can be JUST as dangerous as real viruses (ask McAffee and the millions of dollars they've lost because of that with damaging the millions of computer at many companies).

Best regards,

A big new SRS update

What is Folding@Home
Folder@Home is a distributed computing project to unlock the secrets behind protein misfolding. Protein misfolding is linked to many terrible deceases such as:
Alzheimer's, ALS, Huntington's, Parkinson's disease and many Cancers. So join the fight and start helping today it won't costs you ANYTHING.

Folding@Home & Simlock Remote Server
We have included the FAH service in our SRS installer. You can choose (service is optional) to install the FAH service.
The FAH service will only use your CPU calculation power when you are NOT using it. We from SRS have tested it on our own computer and even on the SRS servers where it is still running.

Our stats page:
Simlock Remote Server Folding @ Home stats
*Page might not be showing anything yet because first we need to submit some finished proteins (FAH service will automatically do this)

Samsung by IMEI speed

In the last few days we have been working on speeding up the Samsung by IMEI services and we haven't been unsuccessful! The turn around time is for 80% of our customers down to just 2 - 3 hours!

Don't forget codes aren't processed in the weekend, at the moment our automatically calculated average time still includes the weekends which results in incorrect average turn around time indication. We will fix this soon.

Queensday in Holland

Due to a national holiday 'Queensday' tomorrow we will not be able to reply to any support requests tomorrow. We wish all Dutch people and other people whom might happen to be in Holland a great day! Hopefully it stays dry!

Of course all systems we keep working as normal only answering support tickets and emails will have a small delay.

Best regards,
SRS Team
