Breaking Samsung unlock record

So we know it seems as if we are a bit quiet, but nothing is further from the truth! The SRS servers are in fact breaking all kind of Samsung unlocking records rushing to almost 120.000 unlocked Samsung phones and other brands from our new SRS api (Alcatel, Bios, Huawei, BlackBerry etc) are also climbing.

Of course we are working on Samsung also, it is a bit quiet for new Samsung models but that is because Samsung is building up to the big Samsung Galaxy SIII release expected in April.

Database stability

Ok, so to keep our website highly available and fast for all parts of the world we use something called a database cluster. The software for this called 'Galera' and it is a very good piece of software normally, however in the last update a new bug appeared.

So now every time communication breaks for a little while between 2 of our servers the database system falls apart. The developers of Galera are working hard on a fix but until this fix is released our database is unstable and can cause problems like we had yesterday. We are now ... Read More -->
